It is without a doubt that his conference with these young teens was inspirational to some, but to others, it is far from being inspirational.
According to Tony Elumelu, in life's journey, he has learned a whole lot and he was hoping he could help inspire the teens as they gradually enter the next phases of their lives.
Tony Elumelu noted his accomplishment in life is not as a result of having wealthy parents, neither is the fact the he went to the best schools nor that he was the most brilliant in his state or country...

The user objected that Mr. Tony Elumelu have to appreciate the privilege of having wealthy parents as this is the major factor behind his (Elumelu's) life's success.
The user added that building wealth from scratch is completely different from building from a foundation someone had already laid - of which many Nigerians never had such privilege.

No sir, always appreciate the fact that you had wealthy parents and this aspect alone had enabled you build on a better foundation.
This isn’t the same thing like Nigerians who grew or woke up everyday in the slum or ghetto, who never had access to steady electricity, who never knew what a PC means and how it was used.
Building from nothing is so different from building on an existing prosperous foundation. Circumstances can’t define you but at the same time it can alter the growth level.
